New World Shakespeare and The Edmund Kean Theatre
This policy outlines the terms for refunds and returns for tickets, merchandise, and other purchases from the New World Shakespeare website.
1. Tickets for Performances
- General Policy: Tickets are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable once purchased.
- Exceptional Circumstances: In specific situations (e.g., severe illness, unavoidable travel issues), we may consider exchanges or credits if requested at least 48 hours before the event, though this is not guaranteed.
- Cancellations: If a performance is canceled by New World Shakespeare, you will be offered an exchange for another date, credit for a future event, or the option to donate your ticket value.
2. Merchandise (Books, Apparel, etc.)
- Return Window: You have 30 days from receipt to return items.
- Condition: Items must be in their original, unused condition with all original packaging.
- Process:

- Include a copy of your invoice and reason for return.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.
- Refunds: Processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
3. Educational Programs/Workshops
- Cancellation by Participant:
- Notify us in writing at least 28 days before the start date for a full refund minus a processing fee (e.g., $100).
- Notify us 15-28 days prior for a 50% refund (minus fee).
- No refunds for cancellations within 14 days of the program start.
- Cancellation by NWS: If we cancel, you'll get a full refund or option to reschedule.
4. Digital Goods
- Platform-Specific Rules: Purchases made via Amazon, Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation are subject to that platform's specific refund policies, which may differ.
